I believe life is a playground, not a prison. This truth is hard to remember when most of us are suffering so deeply from trauma. I provide a space for people to heal from their pain and be fully witnessed, so they can healthily attach, love, play, feel, and enjoy life again. I work through a systemic lens that takes the onus off the individual and puts the focus on the oppressive systems at hand. One of the core tenets I work by as a therapist is equalizing power dynamics within the therapeutic container. I am here to help you remember and rediscover your power. I use a tapestry of modalities; weaving together Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Relational Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy mixed with somatic-based practices such as movement, vocalizations, and breathwork. I infuse compassionate play and humor into my sessions. We’ve got to feel it to heal it. I’m here to help people safely feel and complete stagnant trauma cycles in a titrated, regulated, and safe atmosphere. I’m focused on creating a trauma-informed therapeutic relationship where these wounds can be explored, felt, and healed.
