About

I am a licensed psychotherapist and have been in practice for over 25 years. My specialty is anxiety management, depression, self esteem issues,relationship difficulties, ( including marital, family, work and friendships). My work also includes working with individuals struggling with various addictions, life cycle transitions, disenchantment, and personal growth. Various approaches are used, depending on the problem presented. My style is interactive and direct . You you can expect clear and honest feedback. I am currently on the faculty of the National Institute of the Psychotherapies and have supervised and taught at various training programs and institutes in NYC.

In working with relationship difficulties, my emphasis is teaching mutually respectful and direct communication. I teach practicing healthy self esteem and establishing clear boundaries. Learn how to have satisfying relationships that are the core of a satisfying life. My most recent training has been with Terry Real and John Welwood.

Over the past 25 years My training is in traditional , psychodynamic as well as mindful and body oriented therapies. My work includes individuals in groups, as well as couples groups. You will learn a variety of tools with which to deal with a wide range of issues.
