As a psychologist with over thirty years of experience, I continue to be inspired by helping hundreds of clients break away from the fear, worry and despair that once defined them, and create the lives that they hoped for. In addition to psychodynamic therapy I have trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy and Emtionally Focused Couple Therapy. Using these tools I have helped clients move toward more inner peace and hope. My profession offers me a unique gift to be part of their journey towards healthier relationships, thoughts, and behavior. I have treated individuals and couples using Internal Family Systems . I completed IFS Advanced Training which is particularly effective in helping with issues of trauma, shame, and dealing with a difficult or chaotic childhood. I also use Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy in treating couples. I worked in a medical school teaching medical students and interns understand patients' psychological issues, a children's hospital, and with military personnel and families .
