About

My goal is to help people solve the problems that create barriers to experiencing joy in their relationships, their work and their life. Sometimes these problems give rise to depression, worry, loneliness, or fear. With a deep attunement I am often able to hear and relate well to people's concerns. I particularly specialize in treating addiction/ recovery concerns, marriage and relationship issues, and helping people achieve solutions to their individual problems and goals. I relate to people with direction and kindness and help them achieve their goals--whether changing personal difficulties, relationship concerns, trauma healing or addiction/recovery issues. In addition, my Jungian psychology training helps me work with dreams and spiritual concerns. Together with my clients, we find needed paths to change.

I have been in practice over 30 years and have published papers on marriage and addiction/recovery. I have presented at conferences and trained other therapists. I taught supervision at Rutgers University. In my work with people, often new skills, strengths and fresh coping strategies emerge to help solve difficulties and present new options.
