Seeing your child angry, depressed, anxious, and engaging in self destructive behaviors like cutting or using substances is overwhelming, confusing and frightening. Maybe something recently happened that explains these changes, or maybe it feels like this has come out of nowhere. Either way, you have come to the right place, and I am here to help. I have devoted my practice to supporting teens and their families through one of the most tumultuous times of their life. Using a strength-focused and person-centered approach to therapy, I empower my clients to find their voice and support them as they develop coping skills, process their emotions, and grow into their genuine self. My areas of focus include self-harming behaviors, low self esteem, depression, anxiety, substance use, and LGBTQIA+ identity exploration. I work collaboratively and creatively to best support my clients and their families, and I believe that the most powerful vehicle for healing is the therapeutic relationship, not solely a diagnosis. I am dedicated to providing a space that is safe, supportive, and free of judgement. If this sounds like what you and your child need, I am here to help.
