About

I work with a diverse range of clientele including young adults, those with Serious and Persistent Mental Illnesses, eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, personality disorders, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I’ve worked for many years with under-resourced populations in New York City which has shaped my worldview and approach to therapy. My work has taught me to be an optimist and I've witnessed first-hand incredible growth and resiliency in those with whom I've worked with. I typically take a more modern approach to therapy and am non-judgmental, supportive, direct, and genuine.

My orientation to therapy is humanistic, feminist, and I incorporate elements from CBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy in my practice. I believe strongly that everyone has the capacity for change and growth. My approach is collaborative and authentic; I recognize that you are the expert in your own life and that we are partners in this process.

Every person who has arrived at the decision to seek therapy has had a unique path that has led to this point. I believe that every person is trying the best they can in their unique circumstances, and everyone the potential to heal when given the right support. Therapy can be a tool that fuels self-reflection and fosters change. I welcome you to reach out.
