I value a collaborative approach to therapy, where we work together to set goals that work for you. Maybe you’re seeking support for a diagnosis such as anxiety, depression, or OCD. You might struggle with a history of invalidation, or other interpersonal concerns. Maybe you struggle with executive dysfunction, and are having trouble turning your motivation into action, or maybe you need help building that motivation. Maybe you aren’t quite sure yet what you want to work on in therapy. No matter what brings you in, your story is unique, and I am dedicated to tailoring your therapy experience to your unique situation. I have been trained in exposure and response prevention (ERP) for treating OCD, which is considered the first-line treatment for OCD. Additionally, I incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and feminist therapy to support my clients. I am also LGBTQIA+ affirming. Deciding to seek therapy is often a difficult decision, and I am passionate about making that important decision easier. I am always working to create a space where you feel safe to be yourself, and where you feel accepted as you are. I invite you to request an appointment through the Origins Family Counseling website, or call or email me with questions!
