Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I believe that in addition to biology, we are each a product of our environment, social context, relationships, and life experiences. Therapy is an opportunity to explore these experiences, their impact on us, and recognize the pieces of life that are within our control. Through therapy, I support my clients in re-gaining a sense of agency over their lives and relationships, and ultimately increasing feelings of self-worth, meaning, and happiness. My approach to therapy is supportive, active, and kind. I have experience working with adults, couples, children, and families. I especially enjoy working with new parents and families with young children. I have extensive training in pregnancy, postpartum, fertility issues, and perinatal loss, couples, and families dealing with relationship concerns. Choosing to come to therapy is a meaningful choice. It is a first step towards restoring a sense of mastery, facilitating personal growth, and working towards a more satisfying life. I look forward to working with you!
