About

Everybody needs to be heard. Everyone craves understanding, connection, and acceptance. When we do not have an outlet to tell our story, thoughts, fears, hopes, and dreams- we risk losing pieces of ourselves along the journey. You may be in a position where you're seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and your place in this life. You may be trying to make sense of disappointments or traumas that haunt you. Many may be looking for emotional healing and a path “back to normal” in a world that feels chaotic, uncertain. Some of you would simply like a sounding board to strengthen existing coping abilities; a refresher, if you will.

I have been practicing psychotherapy for nearly 2 decades, spending the bulk of my career serving culturally diverse individuals in all five boroughs of NYC. Most recently I’ve been providing Crisis Intervention and Individual Therapy in CNY. In this time, I have found that a safe and quality Therapeutic Relationship is central to healing and growth.

Whether a time of crisis, the emergence of new (or long-forgotten) symptoms, endurance of tremendous upheaval, mourning of loss, or the uncertainty of change, psychotherapy can be an invaluable tool to help you through to the other side. There IS another side, and no need to venture it alone. I hope to be part of your journey toward mental wellness.
