About

My role is to walk alongside you and provide you the space to overcome the challenges you are facing and equip you with the tools to continue overcoming them in the future. My wish is to collaboratively work with you to build upon your strengths, and help you feel empowered to create change in your life. The approach I use depends on your needs and preferences. I believe every therapy session needs to be tailored to the individual and what they wish to receive from therapy. I’m open to working with anyone who is ready and willing to commit themselves to the profound journey of self-discovery and healing.

I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, treating substance use, eating disorders, PTSD/trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship/family conflict. I tend to use a multidisciplinary approach by pulling from various evidenced-based modalities including DBT, TF-CBT, CPT, ACT, expressive therapy, and more.

Making the decision to begin your self-healing journey can be a difficult one, but a rewarding one given the right support and tools. I know talking to a stranger can feel uncomfortable and intimidating, but I take pride in understanding the importance of building a safe environment & trusting relationship. I also speak Spanish! Feel free to reach out to me.
