I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a diverse knowledge base and a private practice in Brooklyn, New York. I have been trained in IFS and Sensorimotor. Using various evidence-based modalities with clients, my goal is to develop a trusted connection and build on clients' strengths to help them cope with and solve issues they struggle with in their everyday lives. With a keen attention to detail, I monitor the progress of each individual to ensure what we are doing is effective. My formal background includes an MSW from the Wurzweiler Graduate School of Social Work, BSW from Concordia College, case management, and a 15 year teaching background, which underlies my ability to connect with all different kinds of people at any level. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Play Therapy, in addition to Pia Mellody therapy training and Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT), evidence-based counseling and grief counseling. I have also provided one-to-one and small group social engagement, interning in adult day services with Seniors.
