About

Starting therapy can be a daunting and overwhelming process. It is my goal to make it an easy and comfortable transition. I view therapy as a team approach including the child and/or adolescent, the family, community resources, and myself. We work together to best address the presenting challenge. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and families within a variety of therapeutic settings. I received my Master of Social Work from New York University and a Post Master's Degree from Loyola University.

My specialty is working with adolescent girls and their families on challenges in the home, school, or community setting. My past experiences include working as a social worker at public, private, and therapeutic schools. I also offer SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) a parent-based treatment for childhood anxiety.

I have a passion for helping children and adolescents take ownership of their behavior and make changes that will benefit them in all areas of their lives. I am a strengths-based, solution focused therapist who uses a wide variety of modalities that will best help the client succeed.
