About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of North Carolina, having earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Since 2019, I have worked with individuals struggling with all types of eating disorders across numerous levels of care. and I provide individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, clinical supervision, and therapeutic meal support to clients of all ages. One of my goals is to grow awareness of inherent biases around categories such as body size and nutrition and break down the stigmas related to eating disorders and body image.

I use an integrated approach to therapy that incorporates features of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). The therapy I provide is trauma-informed and features evidence-based interventions geared toward each client's needs.

Seeking help is a brave step toward positive change. I want you to know that I'm not just a counselor; I'm a dedicated partner in your journey toward holistic well-being. Whether it's challenging biases, breaking down stigmas, or providing support in various areas of your life, I'm here for you.
