About

I feel passionate about helping people through birth experiences, the postpartum period, and supporting parents through the transition to parenthood. I gained a lot of insight through my own personal experiences with pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. I would like to support people who are experiencing/have experienced pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and fertility issues. I also enjoy helping people struggling with addiction issues. I feel a desire to educate family members on addiction, boundaries, and provide them with support during a challenging time.

I specialize in counseling adolescents and adults with Trauma, PTSD, Substance Abuse/Addiction Issues, and Perinatal/Postpartum Issues. I have sought out extra trauma training, am trauma-informed, and have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy. As of September of 2024, I am currently in the process of getting my Perinatal Mental Health Certification.

I believe that the counseling relationship should be a safe space where a person can experience support, acceptance, and healing. Life has it's challenges. I would love to support you in whatever life has thrown your way. I'm glad you are taking this step to look at counselors and I would love to meet you. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
