Hello, I’m Amanda Scott, dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey towards healing and personal growth. With a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies – Applied Human Behavior from Northern Arizona University and ongoing membership in the American Counseling Association, I bring a passion for helping others that has guided my career from the start. My experience includes working at a substance abuse treatment facility for pregnant and parenting women, where I supported clients facing substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, and low self-esteem. I have also worked with adolescents, young adults. In my counseling practice, I prioritize a Person-Centered and Solutions-Focused Therapy approach, ensuring that clients are at the heart of their own healing journey. I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as needed, recognizing that each individual requires a personalized approach. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals with symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and various traumas, including PTSD. I understand that seeking help for mental health challenges can be daunting, and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore and grow with integrity.
