About

I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship, and the inherent resilience and strength each person holds. I work from a trauma-informed and psychodynamic perspective, understanding that life's experiences shape and impact who we are and how we function immensely. Through these various experiences, many of us develop maladaptive coping strategies and unhelpful beliefs, and have lost sight of our resilience and inner knowing. We each have the ability to redirect our faulty beliefs, and to know and trust ourselves again. It's never too late to find new meaning and connection, and to create a life worth living.

I specialize in working with reproductive mental health for birthing individuals as well as partners, including perinatal mental health (pregnancy/postpartum), birth trauma, pregnancy/infant loss, and pregnancy after loss. I also enjoy working with faith transitions. I utilize a blend of different approaches including EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.

I strongly believe in the inherent strength, resilience, and worth each person holds. I genuinely care for the individuals I work with, and can be relied on to show warmth, empathy, and understanding. It is important to me that my clients feel cared for and respected. My hope is that you, too, will come to recognize your strength and worth with my support.
