Hi, I'm Alison! I'm a licensed clinical social worker and I combine mindfulness with expressive arts to help clients meet the wellness goals they set for themselves. I work with clients who seek therapy for a variety of concerns. I have a background in education and have over a decade of experience working with youth and young adults. I focus on skill-building so that my clients can become confident and self-sufficient when facing real-life challenges outside of therapy. During sessions I invite clients to engage in mindfulness practice and expressive arts modalities such as painting, drawing, sculpture, movement, music, poetry, and narrative, to name a few. I also offer dreamwork sessions for those who are curious about processing their dreams or connecting with them through creativity. If any of these paths sound heflpful to you, I encourage you to reach out. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have and listen to your particular situation and concerns to help tailor a therapy experience that is comfortable, intentional, and supportive in helping you.
