About

I believe the single-most effective tool in therapy is the therapeutic relationship and connection. In a good therapeutic relationship, both people change. This connection serves as the anchor for greater personal insight, meaningful and purposeful change, and new discoveries. Change can also be daunting, but through a supportive and collaborative connection, we often find new voice, perspective, and courage. I believe the therapeutic process can and should include humor, joy, safety, and a sense of purpose.

As a licensed mental health counselor, teacher, and mentor, I have worked with in a variety of settings and with a diverse population. I specialize in substance use and co-occurring disorders, women's issues, LGBTQ, and life transitions. I take a strengths-based approach to identify resilience and innate strengths as the springboard to positive change.

If you are an adult (18+) looking for help with a substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, co-occurring disorders, LGBTQ+ or women's issues, or navigating life transitions, please contact me via phone or email. I am accepting new patients and encourage you to reach out.
