Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I know firsthand how daunting it feels to seek help after trauma. Facing deep wounds is incredibly difficult. For years, I hit dead ends despite my best efforts. I felt like I had my life all planned out, but nothing could prepare me for the roadblocks ahead. Not having the answers was frustrating. But it also lit a fire within me to begin my own healing journey. I soon realized I needed to take a new approach to confront my past traumas head-on. Seeking out a therapist was my number one task. I needed to process through what I had experienced. I needed to dig deeper to better understand why I felt alone and why I blamed myself. I am dedicated to supporting women through life's most challenging transitions. With extensive training in trauma-informed care, I provide compassionate guidance to those navigating perinatal mental health issues, and the lasting effects of past traumas. I take a well-rounded approach that combines cognitive techniques. Whether working through the perinatal period, transitions, self esteem issues, relationship challenges or the consequences of past abuse. I meet each client with deep empathy. I collaborate closely with my clients to develop personalized toolkits tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. My goal is to equip clients with sustainable coping strategies.
