About

My aim is to work with the Latinx community in Montana, because I believe in the importance of receiving services in our own language. I help people who are living domestic issues, anxiety, stress, depression, grief, self-worth, relationship issues, etc. Depending on the necessities of the client, I incorporate modalities of narrative therapy, art therapy, solution-focused therapy, attachment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

Since 2015, I have worked in different positions of social work in my community, helping me to see and understand different types of struggles like domestic violence, child welfare, and mental health issues. During my career, I have learned to evaluate and help guide treatment towards these issues.

I operate from a cultural and decolonizing lens. I evaluate the different kinds of influences in our lives and how they have oppressed us through perfectionism, complacency, people-pleasing, and the different ways we do not honor who we truly are. I welcome conversations of racial and sexual justice, feminism, and intersectionality.
