Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Although my work centers around the very particular needs of every client, the focus of my practice is around the perceptions of Self and the ‘negative’ perceptions (so often old belief systems) that lead to depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, feelings of aloneness - With guidance and care I will do my best to help you find genuine self-compassion and self understanding. Together, we can find what works for you; your needs, your pace… ! My work is informed by many clinical approaches, but primarily emotionally focused, parts work, self-compassion, mindfulness, and deep insight. Perhaps you’re wanting to heal deep wounds, you need someone to really hear you, or you are looking for solutions in a particular area of you life. All is important, and all deserves attention! My style is informal and easy, and I come to this work with genuine warmth, compassion, and empathy. After 20 plus years, nothing you might say will create judgement or discomfort on my end. You will have my undivided attention for a full hour. I sincerely hope, whether it is me or someone else, that you get the help you are looking for and deserve.
